Off the Charts
It feels like we are beating a dead horse at times, but where is the momentum? The market continues to trend higher yet volume and volatility remain very low. Today the indices were mixed but all finished near the flat line. The Dow closed up 0.14% while the S&P (SPY) and Nasdaq both logged marginal losses.
From a day trader's perspective the action has been slow and lethargic, but swing traders like to see rest and consolidation at higher levels.
